At 1,100+ acres and home to just over 29 miles of hiking, biking and equestrian trails, picnic areas, wildlife viewing and more, Susanville Ranch Park is a true gem of Eastern Lassen County.
The park is a great place to take a walk or run, relax and enjoy the peaceful environment or check out the incredible views to be found throughout the park.  As long as your dog is on a leash, he/she is welcome at the park too.

How to get there:
The park is located on the northwest side of Susanville.  Our map shows the Cherry Terrace parking lot.  There is another parking lot/trailhead if you continue north on Paiute Lane.
More info:
The park is host to a variety of special events throughout the year.  Visit its website to get more information.  There is no potable water on site; be sure to bring plenty.  There are bathrooms on site.
Other things to do in the area:
Skyline Park also offers walking trails and some pretty great views.  Take a drive up to Eagle Lake and picnic, swim and spend the day on the water.  Lassen Historical Museum is full of detailed exhibits, photographs and information about the area and don't miss Roop's Fort while you're there.
