The Curry County Historical Museum hosts collections that represent the history of Curry County and surrounding counties. The volunteers at the museum are extremely helpful and knowledgable and are happy to answer any questions you have.
Curry County has quite a history surrounding its beautiful beaches and other points of interest. If your destination is the Gold Beach area, make this museum one of your stops.

Jerry's Rogue River Museum is another cool museum in the area. To the south, Pistol River State Park is a nice stop with plenty of room to stretch out and relax. To the north, Floras Lake State Natural Area is a great stop that has both a lake and access to the ocean.
