Maidu Regional Park is 152-acres (54 developed acres) of recreational fun that features a four diamond softball complex, a five field lighted soccer complex, four station batting cage, soccer arena, skate park, full basketball court, walking & biking paths and much more.
The are also plenty of picnic tables and a children's playground for your enjoyment so bring some food and enjoy an afternoon at the park.
How to get there:
From Highway 80, take the Douglas Blvd exit and go east. Take a right on Rocky Ridge Drive and you'll see the park on your left.

The park is also home to the Veteran's Memorial Rose Garden and the Maidu Museum and Historic Site.
Other things to do in the area:
Folsom Lake Recreation Area is nearby and has a lot to offer. The California Museum, Sutter's Fort State Historic Park and Discovery Park in Sacramento are all worth a visit. The Sacramento Zoo is also a fun place to spend an afternoon.
